This is odd. I've been using my new iPad Pro 11" M4 all afternoon and I was getting software-related flicker on the top email in the Mail app sidebar. So I did a hard reset and, upon rebooting, I got a "Display Not Recognized" message in the Settings app. There's a badge on the Settings icon too. Here's the message. Assume this is some kind of bug.

Did you continue having this problem? I just got a notification for the same thing on mine. I’ve had my M4 since May and this is the first time it’s happened. It went away after a reboot so I’m hoping it was just a one-off bug, but worried I’ll start having problems after my warranty is up in May.

I got the same issue yesterday. Same like yours, It was gone after I restarted the device. Mine is iPad Pro M4 11in, running iPad OS 18.3.1. Before this happened, I had my iPad on a carry on suitcase as I had been traveling, so I thought my iPad was somehow bended (or the screen got cracked) due to the bumps during travel, but after reading your comment, I hope it was just a bug due to the latest software update (I’ve had no issue since I got this device on May ‘24). I managed to take the screen shot attached before restarting. Please share if the issue happens to you again; I’ll do the same. Thanks.
