Display oled broken

Hi guys.

My mac book pro retina early 2015 fell off a chair... after that I used for a few times but now the display is dead... I sendit for a guy to repair and he told me that the display led light was broken.

What do you guys think? Is possible to broke this led light?? Or could be only a flat cable that what unplugged after a some use.

I am not super knowledgeable about the hardware that is involved in the backlight, but I do know that they go out. I had the backlight go out on a 2009 MBP a few years ago, and I have seen several other backlight failures on friends' MacBooks.
