New Mac Studio M4 Max ordered. Any suggestions/options for a 27 inch or larger display 32 inch than the Studio Display that has a refresh rate at 120 or better?

There are literally hundreds of threads in the Accessories forum about Displays... if you do a search, I'm sure you'll find dozens upon dozens of opinions on this topic.

Agree, but the best answers are the actual experiences of forum members relating to displays used with the New Mac Studio M4 Max. For example, connection or performance problems or not (things like these). I am looking for such answers myself, since I am interested in some of the 32" BenQ and other 4K and 5K displays, but not necessarily BenQ alone.

I tried to find a display for my new Mac Studio, but it was like wading through a mire. What one person said was good another said was bad. Confusing talk about scaling issues, others insisting that you must have 5K or better, reviews complaining of flickering, etc, etc.

In the end I just gave up and settled on a cheap 4K Benq. No regrets.

No idea if it has any special features or funky refresh rates. It does have a built in KVM though, which works great with its included “puck”.

Displays are what they are. They have the same connection or performance problems no matter what Mac they're attached to – provided they have the means to be attached at all, of course.

Another user here looking to order a Mac Studio and unsure on which monitor to purchase.
I do not really want to go bigger then a 27", and was considering the Asus ProArt, I've also grown sick of looking and have decided I'll just pick up the ASD alongside the Mac Studio - education discount makes it a little cheaper, but its something I will be keeping for many years going forward so may just invest in it now.

I know a new ASD is rumored for the end of the year or early next, but I cant wait that long - and when it comes to refresh rates etc I hardly notice any difference in the first instance, so I'm not too bothered with that. I have a separate gaming monitor already connected to my PS5, so this ASD would be for general use and production work only.

This isn't going to really help the OP because it only does 60Hz, but I have a n Apple Pro Display XDR (with it's overpriced stand) I purchased when I went from my iMac Pro to a M1Max MBP (since replaced by M2 Ultra Mac Studio) and I love it. 6K/32", fantastic color accuracy out of the box for my photo work. I'm not a gamer so the 60Hz refresh is fine for me.

Absolutely love it

I am getting the PD3226G from BenQ, should be out in early April as I have read. It has 'good numbers' and a reasonable price, it is a new product so it remains to be seen how well it will work.

BenQ PD3226G Mac Monitor

My M4 Max Studio came in today. I'm having a blast trying to figure everything out. My poor iMac has been used as a media device for so long now. I have it hooked up to the aw3225qf right now via hdmi. I can do 4k/120 but the text and everything is so dang small and I'm so used to the 150% scaling in windows.

Any thoughts about monitor, keyboard, and mouse?

No real thoughts just quite yet. I'm working on trying to get the best out of the setup. I've switched the studio over to the Samsung G80SD, and working on that right now.
That makes a lot of sense. I will take some time before ordering the Mac Studio Max from the Apple store. First I will buy the monitor I referred to above, and then decide about a keyboard, and mouse (or trackpad). Also, more than likely I will have to buy a self-powered Thunderbolt hub (please read about the Mini M4 and even the new Mac Studio and their TB ports' performance in other threads).

Will probably perform a clean install instead of migrating files, folders, and apps from the iMac, since this one already has gone through a migration from a 2011 iMac. The Mac Studio will be dedicated to photo/graphic editing (maybe a short video file now and then) at least 99% of the time. I can install DXO Photo Lab and NIK software Bundle, plus OnOne's PhotoRaw, Graphic Converter, and a few other apps in more than one computer, so it won't be a problem.
