Hi there,

first post here and already some (hopefully not so) serious problems. ;)

I just got my new 15 inch Retina Macbook Pro. At first everything was fine (or at least I didn't notice any problems), but after installing a few updates and Windows in Boot Camp I noticed strange brightness problems at the bottom of the display as seen in the attached picture.

Does anyone know what this is? Could this be some software problem due to the updates (there were also some firmware updates among them)? Or is it a hardware defect and I have to return it?

Thanks
Mic

Hardware. Has to do with the spacing of the LEDs in the computer. Should be a completely free replacement.

Okay, i guessed as much. Gonna return it and get a replacement...

Thanks!
