Display Problem

Happy Easter!

Ok, so i started my iMac yesterday, and the display kept flashing, i restarted the computer and it was fine so i thought nothing of it, until last night while i was working, the backlight just up and died to blackness...i could still tell the screen was on because i saw a faint light when i was switching screens...so i dragged my cursor up to the top right corner (hot corner for display sleep) and turned the display of and clicked the mouse and it worked fine again...and again, i thought nothing of it...Today, the same thing happened...now I'm thinking something of it lol. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what might be causing this? And of course my Applecare runs out in a month...

Yeah, well I'm debating whether i can afford it lol. I was hoping i wouldn't have to buy it being that its a desktop...but i guess i do :rolleyes:...I checked console, but I'm not sure what everything means, is it ok if it run it by you?

Edit: Just called apple, they said to reset the PRAM and SMC and if that doesn't fix it take it to an apple store...so i guess ill try that lol.
