Ok guys, I have dual monitors and have actually started using them fully recently, and found that there is a big color difference between the two. I have a 24" iMac and a Dell S199WFP (19"). Right now, the iMac is primary and the Dell is secondary. The Dell is brighter, and the blues are whiter. Is there way I can get the two displays to be as close to the same as possible?

What about System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate?

Tried that. Its set on the defaults right now. I tried going through the other profiles in there, and nothing gets close.

That's why I wrote Calibrate.

Have you tried calibrating the monitors yourself via this option?

As they most probably use different panels anyway, you won't get any close results though.

Er, duh. Sorry, I'm reading (skimming) way to fast. I know the Dell is a TN, and the iMac is IPS. I'll try the Calibrate option, and no never tried it. Care to help?

The 24" iMac uses a TN panel too, only the 21.5" and 27" iMacs introduced last October come with IPS panels.
