Hi,
I have a 2016 macpro 15 inch, and the screen quality, color contrast, everything is just wonderful. I’m not a pro anything image wise. The weird thing is it is significantly better than my 27 inch retina imac from 2015. At first I thought it was just in my head--but it really isn't!

Did something change with the screen technology in that time? If i upgraded my imac, would the screen be noticably better? Thanks.

Well, both Macs have a P3-color display - the MBP should have a bit better brightness and contrasts. Not sure - I have a 2014 iMac retina and I find the image quite nice still, even when compared to a 2016 MBP. But the MBP picture is really great, yeah. Significantly better? Not sure.
