Just joined & hope i can be of any assistance just like im sure all of you will be to me...

let me start!

When the iMac is booting up i get this small patch that looks like a glitch of some kind, any1 else seen this before?

That sure looks odd. Has does it look after it finishes booting and have you tried getting different colors in to that area to check?

How old is your system?

When it finishes booting up the display is fine, it only does it when booting up iMac is under a year old.

update

Sent imac back to amazon after 10 months of ownership for full refund, paid extra £54 and now have latest thin 27" iMac
