Please help!!!
I have my macbook connected to my new Dynex HDTV via a VGA cord. My macbook recognizes the display and I have the displays set to mirror but nothing is showing up on my monitor. What do I need to do?

you've changed the input on the tv and everything right? not all tv's will automatically detect input...

yes I changed the input on the TV and it seems like the TV is detecting input because when I go to other inputs (Component, HDMI 2) it says 'no signal' a box also pops up saying 1080x768 when I switch to VGA.

A tv usually cannot display resolutions other than their native ones, so if you set it to mirror displays that might be the problem, try deselecting it and letting the TV decide what resolution it can output.
