Display settings resetting

I have high sierra 10.13.2 on my MacBook pro mid 2015 and I uncheck the reduce transparency settings under accessibility and also turn off auto brightness. However, when I reset the MacBook every few times these options reset. Is anyone else having this issue? Is it a software issue or something with my hardware?

No other problems with the mac.
