So apparently Apple thought it would great to change the way you wake up your display. Now, when your display goes to sleep, if you move your mouse to wake the display, nothing happens. You now have to physically click the mouse (or hit a key on the keyboard) to make the display wake up.

This is probably the worst idea since Mission Control (don't get me started. VIVA SPACES!!).

I have a Mac Mini hooked up via HDMI to my LCD TV. The only control device I have is a Magic Trackpad (I rarely use my wireless keyboard). Before, I could swipe my finger across the trackpad to wake the display. Now, not having any hard surfaces around, I have to pick up the trackpad (which is usually laying on the couch) and click it to wake the display.

At least give us a choice, Apple!
 
Agreed. I hated it at first cause I use the trackpad as well. I'm used to it now but I'd like click to wake up.
