Display Technology on a MacBook

Does Promotion on a MacBook make sense? If so, I am curious why this feature did not come to MacBooks first as they are the more expensive product, and also they should have more horsepower to run this?

Same for Truetone? Why do you think Macs do not have the same level of display technology as their iOS counterparts?

Nah ..the latest iPad Pros are more than 2x faster than MacBooks for graphics performance.
