This on a 2017 iMac running 11.4.

I installed Big Sur last week. Most everything is fine, except today my display has stopped waking up after sleep. If I log in via VNC or an SSH session, everything seems fine. I have reset the SMC. Here are the current sleep settings:

Code:
MrMuscle:~ mnewman$ sudo systemsetup -getcomputersleep
Computer Sleep: Never
MrMuscle:~ mnewman$ sudo systemsetup -getharddisksleep
Hard Disk Sleep: after 10 minutes
MrMuscle:~ mnewman$ sudo systemsetup -getdisplaysleep
Display Sleep: after 25 minutes

The only way for me to get the display back is to reboot the computer.

I suppose I could set display sleep to "never", but that seems rather extreme.

How do I get the display to wake up after sleep?
