Displaying new messages in Mail icon with Folder Rules

Hi there,

I use Mac OSX Mail and have folder rules set up, so, for example if I receive an email from YouTube, it will go in a folder marked YouTube etc etc.

If I receive a new message which is transfered into a folder using Folder Rules, it doesn't display a number next to the Mail icon, only next to the folder name. So I have no idea if I have received a new message without looking at the Mail application

This is really annoying, anyone have any idea how to sort it?
