iPod touch Displaying the Artist Name on Artist Arrow?

I have a rather odd question here. I have organized my music on my ipod touch 2G to display only by Artist and Song Title. All other information has been deleted. So for example in iTunes for a Metallica song, right clicking and selecting "Get Info", I have only this:

Song Title: Fade to Black
Artist: Metallica

All else is blank.

Now - on my iPod, I display by Artist. Then I select the artist and I get the song displayed "Fade to Black". All is good, this is what I want.

Only problem is the arrow in the upper left hand corner says "Artist" and I want the arrow to say "Metallica" so I know where I am at. Can this be done and how?

(Where Weezer is the band name and Pinkerton is the album name)​

This only works if you have at least two different albums to choose from. Otherwise the iPod app will show all songs by the same artist grouped together. (with "Artist" in the arrow)
