I am currently running Displaylink version 1.5.0 on my M1 Air. So far I have tried it with two docks both work however today I am using it with a Dell dock that supports displaylink and I have noticed a weird thing.

If I go to the Apple symbol and select lock screen, it locks it, but then the monitors go to sleep and I am unable to wake them with the kb/mouse (both wireless which are plugged into the dock)

The laptop is operating with the lid closed. To resolve this issue I have to open the lid, then close it.

Anyone have any ideas?

I wonder if this particular dock goes into a sleep mode when the monitors do as well. If so, it makes sense that the USB ports are going unresponsive. My guess is that Dell hasn't tested for full compatibility on the Mac.
