I have the iwatch version 3, the sport version. I think it is called the nike sport version but i am not sure.
When I first got the iwatch and went for a few runs with it, the watch would call out my distance and tempo every kilometer, for example it would say 'distance 1 kilometer, average pace 4 mins and 30 seconds'. This it would do every kilometer and it was really helpful.
For some reason the iwatch has stopped doing this! I am not sure if it is because of an update, or because i have accidentally clicked a wrong button, but this feature no longer happens.
I have googled for hours but cannot find an answer. I did find how to set pace notifications so that every kilometer the watch will 'tap', but i don't want the watch tapping i want it to call out my distance and tempo/pace.
Does anyone have the iwatch 3 sport version and no how to setup this feature?
All help and tips greatly appreciated.

Are you still using the Nike run club app for running or have you switched t other work outs or another app? I used to use the Nike run club app and it did call out the pace, etc. I now use the workout app instead but it only offers the buzz for mile markers.

For the love of God, please stop calling it the iwatch LOL!

I’d forgotten all about the watch actually speaking distances etc. If I remember rightly it’s never done it with the built-in app but I used to have a third-party app years ago, and unfortunately I can’t remember what it’s called, which did exactly what you said. However I’ve never had a Nike watch so it was certainly nothing specific to that.

Edit: was it something like map my walk, or map my run?

Arghhh... thank you mk313! I had a look and for some reason the NRC (nike run club) app had been deactivated. It was obviously that app i was using and not the standard. I re-activated the NRC app and just went for a run and got my readings. I am now a very happy man indeed! :)
StumpyBloke, just to let you know, i have the iWatch, iPhone, iPod, iPad, and iMac. ;)
