Hello everyone,

I was seeing some TV shows when my screen image got distoted, at first i thought that was a problem with my VGA, but the image is normally displayed on an external monitor (hdmi port), i tried to download a program to turn my lcd screen off, to see if i could only use the samsung monitor... but it still show a black screen with some distorted lines on the mac (with the external monitor pluged showing the images normally)... i'm really confused now, any ideas of whats is going on?

What model is your Mac? The 2011 models and some of the 2012 and 2013 models have GPU issues that are covered under a repair extension.

I saw some links about this repair extension, but i belive this is not the problem, since the image is normally displayed on external monitor.
There arent any apple stores here, and i really dont want to put my macbook on a mail system, maybe this could be some simple issue, as lcd cable!?

My mac:
MacBook Pro i7 2.3 15" Late 2013 (DG) A1398
