When listening to music via Apple Music on my iPhone 14 Pro, I get distorted audio when at or near max volume on the speakers. Any idea what's causing this? Battery health is at 98%. I haven't tried it with YouTube or any other app yet but I have a feeling the results will be the same.

‘I do not know of any device that sounds well at max volume. Either the audio amp would overload and distort or the speakers would be over driven or both.

If you are trying to fill the room with music, you are using the wrong device.

Well, I wasn't trying to turn the phone into a Bluetooth speaker for music playback but was just testing the "capabilities" of the phone's speaker.

My father also has an iPhone 14 Pro. Will test the speaker on his phone too.

You’ll have to try the same music on other apps, such as YouTube, incase it’s a fault with the music file. Also try to isolate the distortion… the first speaker to blow is normally the earpiece.
