Distortion from speaker when repeatedly triggering some sound effects

Hi,

I purchased a MacBook Air 2017 yesterday. Since the purchase, I notice that my MacBook's speaker makes distortion when sound effects like Funk, Purr, Submarine, etc. are played repeatedly before allowing them to finish the complete the tone. For example I select Funk and go to App Store and keep tapping any letter key quickly, the sound effect comes out incomplete with a pop-like sound. This doesn't occur if I allow a bit of time before playing the sound effect again. This does not happen with short sound effects like Tink, Morse, Glass.. Can't say as I have ever had a need to reproduce anything like that in a real life scenario
But it just sounds like perhaps the sound effect doesn't have time to finish before it is triggered again
