I a 770 avi file, that I want to put on to DVD.

I have quicktime pro, as well as toast. So that should do the trick...i hope.

the problem, Im running into is that when I export the avi to mpeg2 ( to encode to dvd ) ..i cant sem to set the aspect ratio ...I want it at 16 x 9 , but it always looks stretched.

Im doing this because, I cant just throw the divx into toast and burn it to DVD...( it needs 4.8 gb as is, hence my trying to export it so it will fit on one dvdr ) ...BUT i run into the aspect ration problem.

SO...

whats the easiest way to make an avi onto a DVDr, while retaining the aspect ratio.

thanks :)

I can drag a DivX file right into toast and it'll convert it for me. But like you said the aspect is messed up. I have a 16:9 that is in 4:3, so if I ever watch it on a widescreen tv, it'll have bars on all sides (unless I zoom). DVD Studio is what you need. Of course over kill.
