iPod Divx/Xvid AVI to iPod video?

So, how do I go about converting / playing these files on a 5G iPod? A free conversion tool would be great

Never Mind ...

I figured out I can do it with QT Pro and the Divx plugin. Then there's iSquint (free) and ffmpegX (free), which are both supposed to put QT to shame wrt performance.
