Alright, I downloaded the newest version of Divx Player, and it is really bad...every time I load it up and try to watch a video it lags for about 4-5 minutes and the controls are unresponsive, then I try to quit and it will not...making me force quit. I have reinstalled it several times to no avail, any ideas?

Why do you need DivX player? Use Quicktime. If you need to watch video formats QT doesn't support, just install Perian, every plug-in you could want.

If you really want a different video player try VLC Player.

Download the Divx Pack and when it gets to what to install just install the codec and web player Perian does not work with stage6 online

VLC will play them back no problem, DivX Player is darn near useless
You do understand that VLC is only a player, right? You do understand that QuickTime is supported by virtually every application on the Mac, don't you? Now, wouldn't the ability to include DivX files in PowerPoint or Keynote presentations be of some use to some people? Wouldn't it?
