DIY external battery charger?

Hi all,

Got a lot of questions today:eek:

Here's one for ya:
I have a PowerBook with no way of charging it (dc in broken)
I have a dead 65w PowerBook battery
I also have 3 broken 65w power supplies

Surely there must be some way of fashioning up some kind of connection so that the battery can be charged straight from the mains?

Or is there some kind of technology in the tip of the charge lead that i'm forgetting?

Please feel free to mock my crazy, penny saving ways but just remember;...

a man with no money is a man ready for ANYTHING ;)
