DIY Fusion Drive flaw on Macbook Pro

Hey guys i think there is a flaw with the DIY Fusion drive. Im loosing battery at a rate of 1% every 2 to 3 min. I also hear the HDD spin up every now and then.
Im not entirely sure how the fusion drive works but does it frequently swap files with the SSD? I would guess the swapping of files and the spinning up of the HDD frequently it would cause a decrease in battery life.

Anyone else with a DIY Fusion drive experiencing decrease in battery life??

Did you have any luck determining what the cause of the battery drain was? I have the same MBP and am going to be doing a fusion drive install in a day or two.

Id play with it a few days and let it allocate most use files and understand what you use the most.
