DIY Fusion drive in Lion?

CoreStorage was already available in Lion and some DIY fusion guides seem to imply that you could build your fusion drive in Lion as well.

Well, I guess you can build in 10.7 a logical volume with a mix of SSDs and HDDs, but I guess that a real Fusion drive requires some added logic to optimize file placement. Is that likely to be available in Lion?
