I thought I was being brilliantly original when I hit upon a padded envelope as an iPad sleeve. But no.

I did pick up my 88 cents 8.5x11 bubble mailer today.

All of the below raises the question: "You spent hundreds of dollars on an iPad and you can't afford more than pennies for accessories?!"

Stylin' with duct tape around a padded envelope:

iPad stand anyone?

Here's a link to 7 stands for 6 bucks or less, including a 69 cent business card holder, a copy holder, a stand out of legos you have lying around, and using your iphone as an ipad stand.

I might do this one with a standard metal bookend. http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-and-cheap-iPad-stand/

Here's another case, a hollowed out book. Very cool but too labor intensive for the likes of me:

And you can make a stylus out of anti-static fabric, from socks, wrapped around the head of a pencil.
