I have several DJVU books. I want to read them on my iPad, but there doesn't seem to be a DJVU reader especially made for iPad!?

Stanza is the only one shown in the App store especially for iPad, but it does not handle DJVU files natively, from what I understand. It converts them into PDF files first, which results in a very much file. In addition, the navigation of DJVU/PDF files on Stanza is not smooth, either.

The other DJVU readers in the App store--Easy DJVU, X DJVU--are for iPhone or iPod Touch. They do not take advantage of the iPad's larger screen.

I have tried to convert the DJVU files to PDF and then read them in Goodreader or iBooks. While some files have converted correctly, some have not. The book cover pics are NOT converted correctly, for whatever reason. When I open them in Goodreader or iBooks, they crash the apps!

The 4.5 Universal version of DjVUlibre for Mac OS X is what I used to convert DJVU files to PDF. It can be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/djvu/files/DjVuLibre_MacOS/

Anyone know a good way to read DJVU files on iPads? Thanks!

Wow, 58 views, not one reply!

Nobody knows a good way? :D. Thanks.

Searching on google yields two links to applications on the iTunes store, but none are specific for the iPad.

Yup. I have been accused of not knowing how to google, among other things. But, believe me, I googled before I posted. It isn't that hard, is it? :D

My search on Google yielded the same result as yours. Thanks for chiming in.
