DLNA/MIRACAST mirroring

Is there any app available to have DLNA/MIRACAST mirroring in MBAmid-2013, like in Windows 8 computers? I woulnd't like to buy Apple TV just for mirroring,since my smart TV has DLNA mirroring capability.

Hi, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any mirroring option in Plex. Does someone have another suggestion?

What about using wired TB / HDMI / DP instead? Miracast is pretty awful for screen mirroring - even worse than Apple's AirPlay.

AirPlay isn't too bad, it's just like most things online nowadays - it needs a stable internet connection

When I tried Miracast with Samsung Galaxy, it worked perfectly, even with videos. Apple TV is ok otherwise, but it needs separate device.
