iPod DLO TransPod owners..

Would some kind soul who owns the TransPod be able to please give me an idea how far it extends out once plugged into the lighter? (Using no extra attachments just the holder and lighter plug) My lighter is in a funny position close to my windshield wiper lever on the steering wheel.
