Hi there

Is it possible to avoid verifying .dmg files when opening them?

It takes forever to finish! Especially when .dmg's are over 5-10GB.

A brief cursory search on the Goggle elicited that the following command line option might be what you're looking for:

defaults write com.apple.LaunchServices LSQuarantine -bool NO (Restart Computer)

I found it one some older posts so I'm unsure if this has changed in later versions of the operating system.
