Hi,

When I try to install the Adobe Premiere trial from Adobe's website, I open the DMG and it says "Warning. The following disk images couldn't be opened. ADBEPPROCS4_LS7.dmg. Reason: Image data corrupted". I have re-downloaded it and even tried to repair the disk image using disk utility, but no help. I would appreciate any help you could give me.

I am using a Macbook late 2008 with Snow Leopard 10.6.1 installed.

Thanks!

Run a MD5/SHA checksum on the file you have downloaded and compare it to the checksum published on the Adobe website (assuming one has been published, they usually are...). If the checksums differ, you know the file is corrupt.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I am not that technicalogically advanced ... if you explain it in further detail, that would be great. Thanks!

Ok I think I figured how to checksum. I opened terminal and typed "echo -n /Users/usernamehere/Downloads/ADBEPPROCS4_LS7.dmg | md5" and it gave me the following result: df19192f3a4891317f4a6cc175b4d872

What exactly does that tell me and what do I compare it to? Thanks!
