Hey, I use .dmg files to store more sensitive data on my computer and I have it all password protected and stuff. It works great, but sometimes when I go to save a file it says I do not have the permissions to save to that folder... Is there an easy way to fix this other than creating a brand new dmg?

So far I have tried checking the permissions via Show Info and Disk Utility. Will I have to constantly have to make new dmg files to be able to save?

I use .dmg files for this purpose as well but I've never had problems with permissions of one. I'd guess that it's a problem with the .dmg you have, so create a new one and see if it works OK.

I. Am. A. Retard. LOL!

I figured it out... I had to change permissions via Get Info and then RE-MOUNT IT! <.< All fixed now :)
