Well my powerpc mac mini went in for repairs at best buy and the sales reps told me that they will probably just replace it with a core duo model because the minis are so small and difficult to repair. Luckily its not going to apple, they could probably fix it. If it does get replaced then I'm going to need some new RAM. DMS has 1GB econo sodimms for $82 and two of them would be about what I'd like to pay for RAM. Has anyone had any problems with their EconoRAM? The difference between that and their regular RAM is about $51CDN for the two dimms which is a fair amount for a student.

On a side note, whats with everyone bashing best buy? The two canadian stores I've been to have been great to me. They even carry the whole Apple lineup so I can't complain.
