Seems Apple has for whatever reason refused to incorporate something as simple as exceptions for app notifications when Do Not Disturb is turned on. Seems like a pretty stupid oversight but then again Apple is traditionally slow to incorporate simple things that seem obvious. In this case, choosing apps to still allow sound notifications. Particularly, I have both a Ring and a Blink camera system. It would be nice to allow these apps to notify me during the night for obvious reasons. I thought maybe there was a workaround like calling myself when there are certain notifications using the Shortcuts app but that seems pretty worthless (or maybe just my own ineptitude).

Does anyone know of a workaround to allow this type of specific exception that doesn’t involve JB??
