DNDWD not enabling

I just got a new 2018 Kia Sportage

In my old Ford Fiesta everytime my phone connected it would enable DNDWD and tell me location information eg distance to work etc

Now with this new car, DND never enables; I have it set to the “when connected to car Bluetooth” option

Is there a way to tell the phone that Bluetooth is a car? Or is this on Kia’s end
