DNS issue: Is this legit? Seem correct?

Should I try this? This seem legit? I have a Gateway 2Wire router and this is the 1st result that popped up on Google.

Also, I have already deleted my default DNS and using 8.8.8.8 and still having issues. I forgot to write down the original DNS. How do I find that again?http://www.olympus.net/olympusnet/olympusonly/dsl/2wire/modem2wire.html

If you delete your 8.8.8.8 DNS and cycle your router, it should grab DNS info automatically again. Just make sure you have it set to DHCP.

what do you mean "cycle"?

Turn it off and then on again is a cycle.

This will force the router to reconnect to your isp and renew its settings
