For the past 3 days I have read more forums than ever and none of them have helped.

I have a Macbook on OS X ... fully upgraded ... for the past 3 days I have not being able to access some keys websites. (Google, yahoo, Google maps ... the list goes on and on)

After reading some forums ... seems that the most common "fix" is to add open DNS to my DNS severs. That fixes Google.com only! I believe I have tried everything ... Does anyone have any idea?

More info -

- U-verse
- 2Wire Router
- PC on the same routers works fine.
- Youtube opens partially
- Firefox has the same problem
- I can connect by using the ip addresses instead of the url.

This happened once after I purchase the Mac ... took the Genius Bar and they decided that was easier to format ... this time I have my computer full ... what a pain would be to re-install.

Does anybody have a clue?

Thanks in advance. :apple:

The first thing I try when this happens to me is a network reset. To do this:

  1. Unplug all network hardware
  2. Wait 3-5 seconds, then plug everything back in
  3. Restart all devices connected to the network

FINALY ... Peerguardian ... removed peerguardian ... took from login files ... and KABLAMMMMM! DONE!

Thanks for your help.
