DNS Slow after moving to Server OS X

I recently set up a DNS server on my mini. I have configured it properly and able to resolve the mini from all my other macs.

One problem I am having though is that the DNS Server (the mini) is resolving names really slowly, compared to the DNS Servers that my ISP has.

Am I missing something? Seems odd that it is slow.
