I like Sport Loops and have small wrists. Bought Trail Loops in S/M as they fit excellent.
My Sport Loops for my 45mm AW7 in M/L are a bit too large. Apple offers S/M only for 41mm. Before I order one: do 41mm Sport Loops fit in a 45mm AW7?

Sport loops don't come in S/M or M/L sizes. They're one size. Do you mean sports bands? Even sport bands come in both S/M and M/L sizes for the 45mm Apple Watch.

No, I mean "Sport Loops", e.g.

And they come in one size for 41mm (130-200mm) and for 45mm (145–220mm).

You are right, the different sizes are not named S/M and M/L, these are the sizes for the Trail Loops. Though S/M = 130-180mm and M/L=145-220mm correspond somehow to the sizes available with the Sport Loops.

Got it. Functionally, a 41mm sport loop will work on a 45mm watch case since the band mechanism is the same. However, there will be huge gaps on either side as the 41mm band has significantly narrower lugs than a 45mm band. If you don't care about how it'll look, then by all means, go ahead and use a 41mm band with your 45mm watch.

No, 41 does not fit 45 or vice versa
