The G4 in my signature is missing its BT and Wifi antenna extensions inside. I know I can buy USB dongles and such but it's bothering me that this isn't complete. I've looked online and cannot find the BT one anywhere for a good price.

Looking at wikipedia, it looks like all 1.0GHz+ had the option to have BT installed. Would that mean that, assuming they haven't already been removed, any 1.0GHz+ iMac G4 I purchase should have the BT extension cable inside?

Part of me wants to fix it and then not have to open it again since you have to reapply thermal paste and make sure everything's lined up so the cables don't get pinched.

All 1.0Ghz+ G4 iMacs do have the internal dome Bluetooth antenna. But only those that came with the BTO Bluetooth option have the required extension antenna.

That antenna won't work for a G4 iMac's Bluetooth. The Bluetooth module uses the snap connector common on modern wireless cards, not the push antenna used on Airport Extreme G cards.
