Do all 2011 iMacs use the same type of RAM?

I am going to be buying a 2011 iMac soon and will be doing an aftermarket upgrade to 16GB of RAM. When I look at the RAM selector in Crucial, nothing except the Crucial part number changes between the different iMacs, so will RAM bought for any 2011 iMac work any other 2011 iMac?

You can also look at OWC/MacSales for compatible RAM.

I just got the same upgrade from Crucial, dude. The RAM type is PC3-10600, if it says that, you're sorted. Their prices are great at the moment.

Awesome. I'm planning to get the 2.7GHz i5 27" model, but might change my mind at get the 2.8GHz i7 21.5" so I want to make sure I don't buy RAM that will be of no use

I'd probably go with an upgrade to 12GB, which is half the cost, and should be plenty.
