Do any Mac web browsers use GPU acceleration?

IE9 supports GPU acceleration, I just wondered if any OS X browsers use the GPU to speed things up?

Safari, Chrome, and Firefox use GPU acceleration on Mac OS X. Those are the browsers I use, and I haven’t checked any others.

What is GPU acceleration related to web broswer.
Is this applicable to even text download or browsing ?.
