I have tried a Sierra mobile broadband adapter from AT&T and an Ovation mobile broadband adapter from AT&T but both do not work. The Sierra card gave a "terminal failure" and the Ovation card cause a kernel panic.

Does any carrier make a mobile broadband adapter that works with Snow Leopard without a tweak or hack?

I used to use the GT Express card before snow leopard and when I used it in SL it gave me a kernel panic until 10.6.1. So I purchased a USB Connect mercury modem and it works fine with SL but I do use the custom software instead of a native connection.

Do you have a link to that card or which carrier its on? Also the custom software is that something you have built or the software that came with the product as opposed to the native software on the mac?
