Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there are any Thunderbolt accessories available to buy yet. There have been quite a few products announced but I've yet to see any of them in stock anywhere.

Seagate and WD hope to have Thunderbolt hard drives available sometime this year. Lacie's first offerings will be here in the summer as well as RAID arrays from Promise and other pro-market suppliers.

This news story about Final Cut X also says we may see some Thunderbolt products on sale as soon as next week.

OllyW is right; there are no Thunderbolt accessories available yet. Not from anyone; not even Apple. There have been a bunch announced as being in development, but nothing released for sale yet.

I wonder how long it will take for a Thunderbolt to USB3.0 adapter to come out?

Yeah, I thought I'd be able to stock up on some thunderbolt cables (I've got a sweet setup planned), but even those aren't available yet. :(

The more time passes, the more I wonder if Thunderbolt is really vaporware. It's been out for months now and NOTHING yet? Not even a cheap Chinese external hard drive enclosure on Newegg?

I'm kinda losing hope for Thunderbolt here. Meanwhile you can buy USB 3.0 peripherals left and right yet Apple doesn't support it.

Fail. :(

Yeh I hear you, I was excited when I first heard about. I could think of so many possibilities, but now after there being nothing available yet, and a google search for thunderbolt is more likely to produce results about the thunderbolt HTC, you got to wonder...

I agree. If not "vaporware", perhaps a "market flop".

When firewire was introduced, we saw firewire peripherals available early on. Even if FW never reached a level of popularity that USB enjoys.

USB3 is going to do much better. How long will it take Apple to pick up on it?
