My order has just gone from 'Processing' to 'Preparing to Ship'. My Apple SIM says 'Delivers 24th October', however the iPad Air 2 says 'Delivers 22nd - 24th October'. Does this mean that the iPad and Apple SIM could arrive separately. Or have people who already have there devices delivered had SIM's and iPad's delivered together?

I noticed that some folks who posted screen shots had a separate item for the SIM and some of us don't.

Are you in the US? Because I wonder if location has anything to do with the difference.

I don't think the new apple sim can be removed. instead of switching out sim cards, you go into settings and choose what carrier to use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaJgtSmYeyw

It has to be removable as only 4 carriers world wide are currently participating. Verizon in the US is not participating, so the Apple SIM that arrives in my iPad will be removed and my Verizon SIM will be placed.
