hey im thinking of bringing my mac in for repair,
there is something wrong with the RAM or something.
Would pirated apps and games on my mac affect warranty?

No, they won't. What's the problem with the computer? You'll probably want to follow some troubleshooting steps before taking it in to Apple.

Well you don't go and bluntly tell the employee of a computer company where you're taking your laptop to get serviced that you pirate app and games, especially if any of that software is from them. But no, that won't happen. They aren't just going to go through and verify all your software.

If the concern is ram and you've upgraded it since your purchase, you should run memtest in single user mode first to verify such an issue. It can cause corruption over time. If I'm sending a machine in, I send it in with the original parts. If it's the stock ram, then just take it in.
