I plan to buy a new 13" MacBook Air but I wish to have 8GB instead of 4. Must I order online or do the physical stores have such? Thanks, Sam

Some stores may and some may not. Some that do may be temporarily out of stock. Why not simply call your local store and ask?

If they do have it in store it will probably be the maxed out model with the I7, 512 HD, AKA the ultimate model.

Never seen a store with 8gb ram and no other upgrades.

You would have to call the stores and see what they have in inventory.

Example: checking Apple's website for an iMac 27" i7, 1TB Fusion, 680MX shows a ship time to pick it up at the store.
Yet when I went to the store they told me they had 3 of those confirmed sitting in the back ready to go home with me.

Too bad I didn't need a new iMac that day.

I found the loaded 13" i7/8/512 in Toronto Eaton's centre on Thursday. I returned it yesterday (still sealed) though. Decided to wait a while longer as I'm not ready to switch from a desktop (windows) just yet.

if you can find an apple outlet retailer, they normally do, the apple outlet store near me only stocks non-stock apple products
