Do Apps automatically get set to Send Notifications?

When an app is downloaded, is it set to automatically send push notifications? I've been having to manually turn them off every time. I also noticed some apps will change to automatic push out of the blue.

It's generally based on whatever options are enabled for a particular app under the Notification Center section of Settings.

Every time I download and launch a new app it asks me if I want push notifications enabled. Don't know why yours are automatically turning on, but as the guy above me said, just go into settings and disable them if you want.
