iPod Do bookmarked AAC files freeze your iPod?

Does anyone else have this problem? When I play a bookmarked podcast and pause it long enough for the iPod to go to sleep or whatever it will not come back on without a hard reboot. Does anyone else have this problem? I guess it is the iPod software.

I have a 30 gig iPod Photo, by the way.
